ヘテロロマンティックは、自分とは異なる性別の人々に恋愛的慕情を感じる個人[1]のこと。特に、女性または男性のいずれかであるシスジェンダーの個人を指すときに、性別二元論における「他方」の性別に恋愛的慕情を経験する人を指します。[2][1] スプリット・アトラクション・モデル(SAM)において、ヘテロロマンティックに対応する性的指向はヘテロセクシュアルです。[3]
